Over the Ridge--Modified Orton (OUTTAKE)

This is a digital Orton with a layer of crystal sandwiched over (2 layers, a luminosity layer and a multiply layer, each with a lowered opacity.) I was aiming for something dark and moody. (You need to click on this to view it larger). See another version of this.Posted by Picasa

It's great to see it bigger than on BP. Now I know that really is a little seal pup watching them. And the guy with the stick has seen it. He is wondering how to enter the sea pup's world. I think the pup could be trapped in an ice cave and can't find his way out. He's seen the boys. Maybe he needs to dive down into the depths to find the secret tunnel. Maybe the boys can rescue him.
I can't wait for the next chapter.

Now that I know the seal pup is in danger I understand why this is dark and moody! I like them both but the other one is a happier one to have on my bedroom wall!

OH, I see the seal pup, or it it a baby polar bear?

I do like the brighter one. I wanted to try some of the other blending options becase they looked cool on my screen.

I liked some of the others, too, but the bright one was my favorite. Difference blending made it blue, very interesting.
