I've never eaten ortonised pie! Does it give you a glowing feeling in your tummy?
I'm glad you keep experimenting with this Mary and don't just stick to the nature shots. This is one that could grow on me.
I did see an orton portrait amongst the winners I think today. I liked it but might not find it again.
I am taking nature pictures nearly every day. But it is November and they look rather dismal, fo rthe most part, and the pie looked cheerier.
I like the idea of a glowy pie. There is one piece of this pie left int he fridge--Keith is taking it for lunch tomorrow, but it looks NOTHING like this now! LOL!
Some of the orton's I see are do delightful--I want to figure out how they do it.
This is glowing on me, growing even!! It is not easy to arrange things and make them look attractive. Although it does look better with the black background. When you open it up it looks more wishy washy.
I will try to remember to chose still life as my March theme.

The Orton effect is when you sandwich a blurry image with a clear one for a haloed effect. THANKS! :-D
