Not too keen on this - for me the orton doesn't do anything for this subject. Certainly doesn't look tempting to eat. I guess of the three I prefer the BP version but still, as I commented there, I am not so keen on the high contrast shadows on the pears.

I wonder what of anything could have been done with the pear shot to make it good.

Maybe I should submit it to 101's thing where everyone makes a go at it and see what they come up with.

I liked the original but it lacked pizzazz!

I actually think it would be worth working on it to make it look more tasty. I love the idea of eating it. Just fancy it right now in fact but we are having shepherds pie for sunday dinner. Couldn't be bothered to do a roast!
Does 101 still do that? I havn't noticed for an age. I actually found out today how to nominate someone for a PCA so if your baby seal pic doesn't make it next month I am all ready to nominate it.

Oh goody, hope the baby seal wins, and the novel that goes with it. What would make the pears look more tasty?

I would prefer it sharper and not ortonised. I commented on one of your other versions which I like best, which is nice and sharp and the cheese looks fantastic but I didn't like the black on the pears.
I suppose I am being boring and wanting a straight sharp well exposed shot. This is just because I would really like to eat it and have it look tasty.

They were tasty pears! Mmmm! OK, I'll see what I can do.
