Family/Season: Rachel at Christmas
I revived this from two years ago. It's my grandaughter. Hopefully I will post one from this year for comparison. She's 5 now. We got her all kinds of pink.
Glad you gave her pink. I am thinking maybe I deprived Charlotte when she was young by not putting her in pink! I was always too practical and put the girls in clothes that wouldn't show the dirt considering they lead dirty lives, helping at the allotment and running wild in the country and on their horses. These days it seems that that know what they want to wear by the time they are 3 and will not wear anything they don't like.
She LOVES pink! Even though she's a tomboy of sorts, if you can call them that when they are that young. The dress we bought was almost $60 and she won't be out of it--so she may wear it out pretty fast. But she's cute in it and happy in it, what more can you ask?
My kids mostly wore play clothes. I did let them dress themselves, much to their later consternation when viewing photos of themselves in weird outfits.

What a little darling. She is a treasure and this is a darling portrait!
She is cute. I have an update if I ever have time to post it!
I did enter it at BP, but now I can see soem flaws. (Actually, I entered it twice, once two years ago and once now) But it needs a little mroe work.
