Smudge Tool Painting: Underside

The underside of a white oat leaf smudge-tool painted. Original first, smudge-painted second. Once again it is important to click on this to get the full effect.Posted by Picasa

I especially like all the little leaves you have painted in! WOW you learn quick! But surely you didn't do this while you were a passenger in the car. No way could I do that - I have to look straight ahead or I feel sick!
Lovely job!

Thank you very much. THANKS!! :-D

Yes, I did this in the car and ONLY in the car--it took four trips, 8 car rides, to do it. It is hard and the car leaps and bumps and swerves and if you look closely in the largest size at the lines, you can see blurps in them where the car heaved and the mouse wiggled. It doesn't show much in the small version.

It isn't hard at all, it's just time consuming--it's sort of like "paint by numbers" in the sense that the photograph gives you the outlines of things and you just have to decide how to fill them in.
